We had just visited Idaho after my surgery in November, so we enjoyed a quiet little Christmas at home in Oregon. This was Eloise's "Take it in the Face" phase--always a black eye, bruise or smack-o-la. I was tempted to have her wear a balaclava in public, ha ha!
