Claire asked for a Safari Party after seeing a nasty WalMart cake that she fell in love with. I tried to get that cake but I dropped the pass and was too late. This was my 11pm gambit last night sans Pinterest. The eyes were an edible Wilton cakes product. Pretty cool! It's supposed to be tigers, lions and a special zebra just for Claire. There are 6 zebra candles jammed in that baby too.
I used peacock duct tape to make our "watering hole" beautiful.
Our friends the Parry Family let us use their yard and we brought our new bounce house, which was the present for all the kids during birthday season this year from Grandma Kay.
Sophie had her tonsils out last week and she's already bounced--literally (don't tell the doc!).
Claire's favorite snacks = pretzels, cheese and cornichons.
Happily collecting candles.
Did I mention there was cheese at this party?
Pretty Weeza.
Frtiz rode out the party in a wrap. It's crazy hot this summer so I'm glad I made it out of light linen.
I was there too. Daddy is doing a pediatrics rotation.
The neighbor boy offered to do a magic show for the party, after which we "hunted" for animal toys in the yard and ran around yelling.
My lovely friend Liz--this is her yard.
Eloise got a chance to bounce without big kids.
Getting away with something.
Claire's trophy.
Present frenzy.
