Sophie's First Year of Preschool

Sophie attended Little Ewe Christian Preschool this year and enjoyed her friends in the three year olds' class.
Remembering that she'd been asked to smile while singing.
Proudly accepting her diploma from the beloved Miss Gina.

Eloise trying to push past my 34 week Fritz belly to escape.
Feeling proud. She wants Disneyland style homemade Dole Whip ice cream tonight to celebrate!

Eloise joined the family of Sophie's good friend Zoa since her momma is cooler and has already had her baby and regained lap space.

Visit with Grandma Kay

Grandma Kay came to see us for Mother's Day weekend, so we took her to the ocean for kite flying, ice cream and fresh crab. It was a tremendously beautiful day!
Claire in her one-of-a-kind pony jacket. She likes Rainbow Dash and wanted a licensed hoodie, which costs around $70. My solution was to buy a $2 white hoodie on clearance, dye and bleach it to look like a sky and then to draw and set a Rainbow Dash outline on the front. She thinks its the coolest ever to be the only kid in the world with this jacket :)
Dad took the day off from medical boards studies to come with us--we were happier to see him than the ocean.
 Dad found a jellyfish.

Eloise walking her grandma and her dog Piper.

Oh yes, wherever Eloise is, there will be dancing.

Our kites were Easter presents from Grandma Regular (Nina). This is Sophie's (most successful) first kite-flying experience!

Sophie likes to tell me that she's three years old and likes to ask me "Why?" pretty much all the time.

Eloise wondered if Piper would be interested in flying too.
"No, no. MY dog, my dog."

Lots of surfers out today--but no waves for them to ride. Must be for the look of the thing?

 Eloise's first kite!
Action Mom rescues the sinking kite.

Little guy at 32 weeks--we're running out of room...
Dad had a good time taking a turn to "fix" the kite.

 Piper walking Eloise.

As usual, Mom gets stuck holding all the kites while people run around splashing in the surf.
Did I mention I'm VERY pregnant with Little Fritz?

Even though Claire is so cool and does everything for her grown-up self, she can still feel wonder.
 Ham-bone yalkin' it up.
